Young patient with pathologic tooth-wear. Challenge being to restore lost length, to enhance brightness yet without jeopardising structural integrity of veneers. Our main concern is to not drill teeth at all (young lady with healthy teeth) and to ensure natural-looking outcome.
Aesthetic and functional analysis dictated use of composite veneers in a layered approach and with a slightly elongated form.
Composite veneers acquired a fine form, nicely following curve of lower lip.
Extra care applied to mimic macro- and micro- morphology of natural teeth.
Layering of composites with different optical features resulted in slightly enhanced translucency to match young age.
