Implant dentures are used in node patients, i.e. patients who have no teeth at all. They are the ideal choice for elderly patients or even for patients who have been wearing full dentures (dentures) for a long time. It takes 3-4 implants to restore a totally fresh upper jaw and 1-2 for the lower jaw. The implants are joined by a metal bar, which gives strength and retention to the denture or by means of cylindrical locators. They are the solution of choice for patients with a highly absorbed mandibular facet. In these patients , the bone is significantly resorbed. As a result, it is not possible to place enough implants to support a fixed bridge. Patients in this category are plagued with complete dentures (dentures), which lack sufficient retention and stability. Placing two implants in the lower jaw and adjusting the existing denture offers a surprising improvement in quality of life. Implant-retained dentures are less expensive than fixed prosthetic restorations. Post-implant dentures are chosen as a prosthetic solution to implants when fixed restorations cannot be constructed.
