Male patient, 45, presented to our practice requesting smile makeover. His major complaints being • color mismatch across the upper front • black triangles between teeth • and crowding of front teeth in the lower jaw
Findings were • active periodontitis • gum recessions and black triangles • peri-implant deficiencies – at the posterior segments Treatment launched with full mouth disinfection and removal of microbial debris by our perio specialist
Upon finale of perio treatment, restorative phase set off with meticulous analysis both functional and aesthetic. Digital Smile Design implemented on photos of the face and smile with before & after depicts.
Custom made templates soaked with flowable composite copied the intended design on to teeth, helping visualize the projected smile real-time Try-in prototype engaged on his teeth and patient was advised to trial the mockup for 2-3 days
18 emax veneers (LT-Low Translucency ingot) were CAD/CAM fabricated and delivered
Note • underlying pale-yellowish shade in the middle of the veneers to immitate looks of natural teeth • translucent edges
