1st appointment _ Meticulous examination (teeth, gingiva, occlusion, xrays). Pain relief (i.e. immediate endodontic treatment), immediate aesthetic/occlusal restoration and/or preview of final tooth shape
2nd appointment_ Full mouth scanning and photos
3rd appointment_ Physical transfer of the new shape with the aid of composites in a fully no-cut-no-drill approach. This stage is completely retrievable , ie teeth are neither drilled nor bonded with composites.
Deciding to go to a dentist is the first step to have complex tooth issues restored oftentimes in an impressively simple way i.e with novel composite resins an/or porcelains.
Our daily engagement with dental prosthodontics during the last 20 years has been consistently underscoring that 80-90% of tooth issues can easily be treated in a day or two and in absolutely efficient manner with the aid of new armamentarium (digital equipment, new ceramics, composites, electronic anaesthesia, novel implants)
Depends on the case. Single tooth restoration (i.e broken or discolored tooth) with composite buildup/veneer would cost 200-300euros (monochromatic vs polystromatic) and takes 1 appointment whereas single porcelain veneer would cost 500-650 euros and takes 2 appointments
On multiple issues i.e worn dentition (pathologic shortening of teeth due to grinding/clenching/acidic erosion) advanced no-cut&drill restoration with composites on teeth of one or both jaws would cost 1500-3000 euros and would take 2-3 appointments
